Scares That Care Weekend
July 21- 23
A three day horror based event, complete with fun activities, exciting celebrity guests and a spooky good time! Best of all – all proceeds raised from this event will go to help families with severely ill children, women fighting breast cancer, and those children suffering burn injuries! See also the 5K Run/Walk and the Children’s Trick or Trot Run.
Summer Nights at Busch Gardens

Nature Connects: Art with Lego Bricks
July 22 – November 26
Nature Connects is an award-winning, record-breaking exhibition now touring North America. Created with over a half million LEGO pieces, this show features larger-than-life sculptures built with LEGO bricks by Brooklyn artist and children’s author Sean Kenney. At the Virginia Living Museum.
Comedy Club of Williamsburg Presents Reno Collier with Roger Keiss
With a contagious laugh and friendly, almost intoxicating demeanor, Reno’s observations often find him recalling mishaps of his West Virginia cousins, his Scottish heritage, unruly in-laws and alien abductions. At the DoubleTree Hotel.
Inside James Fort: The Powhatan Indians
The archaeology from inside the fort site offers evidence that local Native tribes were frequent visitors during the earliest years of the settlement. Join Daniel Firehawk Abbott of the Nanticoke people from Maryland’s Eastern Shore to learn about the material culture and lifeways of the Tidewater Algonquians as well as their interactions with the settlers of Jamestown.
“Rock the Boat” Concert Series at Watermen’s Museum
Carrot Tree and Toby’s Dog House will be sponsoring a new concert series call “Rock the Boat”. Come and enjoy Sunday evenings with music, food and beer. The restaurants will provide hot dogs and steamed spiced shrimp and craft beer for purchase.
Canoeing with the Stars
Get away from the bright lights of the city and spend an evening with us looking at the night sky. For an added touch, we’ll enjoy it from a canoe! Night Hike at York River State Park
What roams the woods after dark? Take a ranger guided tour with us to experience the sights and sounds after sundown. Enjoy the cooler temperatures with the sounds of raccoons, owls, and other creatures.

“Pocahontas Imagined” Special Exhibition
July 15 – 19
Four hundred years after the 1617 death of Pocahontas in England, her image and legend live on. Using depictions of Pocahontas from across the centuries, Jamestown Settlement will present “Pocahontas Imagined,” a special exhibition opening July 15 through January 28, 2018, that illuminates the reasons behind her enduring legacy as well as her impression on popular culture and art.

Williamsburg Farmers Market
