Yorktown’s Cabin Fever Concert Series, Thursdays through March 1
Wipe the winter blues away with a free concert in the Freight Shed at Riverwalk Landing in historic Yorktown. Local musicians engage and interact with the audience during this unique experience. Sponsored by York County.  Limited seating, no tickets or reservations, first come-first served.

Pocahontas Imagined at Jamestown Settlement (LAST WEEK!), Through January 28
Four hundred years after the 1617 death of Pocahontas in England, her image and legend live on. Using depictions of Pocahontas from across the centuries, Jamestown Settlement presents “Pocahontas Imagined,” a special exhibition that illuminates the reasons behind her enduring legacy as well as her impression on popular culture and art.

Restaurant Week, January 21 – 31
Loosen those belts and clear your schedule because Restaurant Week has returned to Greater Williamsburg. It begins Sunday January 21, giving patrons the chance to visit favorites or turn to new restaurants for special deals. One of the new additions to the Williamsburg area Restaurant Week is the inclusion of breakfast specials.

Riverwalk Restaurant Participates in Restaurant Week, Through January 31
It’s a deal to satisfy both your appetite and your wallet! Stop by Riverwalk Restaurant to celebrate Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association’s big week to enjoy delicious lunch and dinner specials.

The Magic of Benny Goodman, January 23
“Virtuosos on clarinet and saxophone” (New York Times) twin brothers Peter & Will Anderson celebrate the King of Swing exploring Goodman’s repertoire to share the interesting evolution of American music through many decades.

Comedy Weekend at Kingsmill Resort, January 26 – 27
You have the power to combat winter’s chill with body-warming, gut-busting laughs throughout Kingsmill’s Comedy Weekend.  On Friday and Saturday night, a lineup of some of the nation’s funniest comics will perform live to keep you hilariously entertained and rolling in the aisles.

Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center Features High School Student Show, Through February 9 (see website for dates)
The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center is currently featuring the 2D and 3D artwork of students from six Williamsburg area high schools through Feb. 9. This exciting 2018 exhibition is WCAC’s 15th annual High School Student Show and includes 131 pieces by 93 students.

Watermen’s Museum Presents Yorktown Story Slam, January 22
Story tellers come together at the Yorktown Story Slam every fourth Monday of the month to share their true personal tales about a monthly theme.  7 PM – Storytellers Presentation.  8 to 8:30 PM – Audience Stories.

Taskinas Trek at York River State Park, January 17
The Taskinas Creek Trail is gaining a reputation as one of the most scenic and challenging hikes east of I-95. This three mile trail has a series of steep ravines that wind down to secluded bogs.

Dino on the Loose, January 27
Join our walking T-Rex for dinosaur parades, photo ops and a roaring good time on the Dinosaur Discovery Trail! At the Virginia Living Museum.

“Mixed Media” Exhibit at the Gallery at York Hall, Through March
Come and enjoy Mixed Media Art Show at  the Gallery at York Hall.  You can relish in our revolving exhibit of fine art in all media by local artists for display and sale. See website for winter hours.

The Art & Science of Arachnids, January 19 – February 2
Explore the connections between arachnids (spiders) and literature, art, folklore, paleontology, science, and history, in the largest, touring arachnid exhibit in the United States, featuring three-themed, live spider cubes. At the Virginia Living Museum.

Karaoke Idol at Revolution Golf & Grille, Wednesdays through March 21
See if you have what it takes to be Williamsburg’s KARAOKE IDOL! 10 weeks Event! Tryouts are on Wednesdays (January 10th and 17th). Top 20 continue on to the 8 week elimination!

Dominion Presents Liberty’s Ice Pavilion, Through February 18

Vinyl Night at Alewerks, Tuesdays

Trivia Night at Alewerks, Wednesdays
Wednesday night means the Taproom is the place to be for this battle of the brains. Bring your friends (or your enemies) and prove just how smart you really are. It’s an entertaining evening with great craft beer, and a thoroughly irreverent take on trivia. We’ll have food trucks here too with an ever-changing menu of delicious options.

The Comedy Club of Williamsburg, Saturdays through February 24
The Comedy Club of Williamsburg invites you to join us for a wonderful evening of fun and laughter. This is your chance to see nationally touring comedians many of whom who have appeared on shows such as Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and HBO, David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon! Many of our comedians are Headliners on major stages in New York City, Las Vegas, and on the Cruise Lines! At the DoubleTree Hotel.

Friday Brewmaster’s Pin, Fridays
Every Friday at 4 pm at The Virginia Beer Company, we tap a small but potent Brewmaster’s Pin. Centrally located on the bar top in our taproom, these weekly cask concoctions give our brewing team the chance to add a personal touch to our draft offerings.
