Riverwalk Restaurant Wine Expo, March 10
Sample more than 50 different wines, artisanal cheeses, local oysters, and sweets-all for a great cause! Proceeds from Riverwalk Restaurant’s Spring Wine Expo will benefit the Victory Peninsula YMCA of Yorktown.

2nd Sunday’s Art & Music Festival, March 11
Williamsburg, Virginia’s only ALMOST Year ‘Round Arts & Street Festival! On the second Sunday of every month, you can stroll the streets of Colonial Williamsburg and take in unique arts, handcrafts, and live music in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.

Battle of Hampton Roads Weekend, March 9-11
Join The Mariners’ Museum as we commemorate the 154th Anniversary of the Battle of Hampton Roads. Experience Living History encampments, an interactive iron pour, a Civil War beard competition for all ages, enjoy family programs and games, educational lectures, and more!

The Beatles Tribute Show, March 10
Join us for a night of Beatles Mania! CultureFix proudly presents area musicians Matt Thomas & Kim Person, Skinner Box, and The Folly playing your favorite Beatles tunes. At the Kimball Theatre.

The Chamber Music Society of Williamsburg, March 6
The Chamber Music Society of Williamsburg presents the Weiss Kaplan Stumpf Trio Tuesday evening, March 6 at 8:00 PM in the Williamsburg Regional Library Theatre. Combining the talents of three award-winning soloists, the  Trio brings to each performance its distinctive fusion of authority, experience, energy, and passion.

Auntie M’s American Cottage Workshops, March 10

Brackets and Beer at Billsburg Brewery, March 11
Join us in the Billsburg Taproom and fill out your brackets! We will have all the final games on the TVs, plus all the coverage for Selection Sunday and the analysis after the selections.

Saint Barbara Beer Release, March 10
Brass Cannon Brewing’s spring seasonal is making its return on Saturday the 10th! The lightest color beer we offer, St. Barbara is crisp and refreshing with a floral tone of heather tips and lemon peel.

Sip and Sculpt, March 9
A new Battle of Hampton Roads (BOHR) event where guests can enjoy a glass of their favorite adult beverages while creating their own iron-cast molds. The molds will then be used to turn the design into a work of art using traditional iron-casting techniques during iron pour demonstrations throughout the weekend. At the Mariners’ Museum.

Civil War Lecture: The Age of Iron, March 10
Civil War lectures are free with Museum admission, but reserving a seat is suggested as seating is limited. Reserve seats below. Following the American Civil War a number of improvements were made to ironclad vessels to better project the imperialistic interests of world nations.

Lecture at Grace Church Parish Hall, March 11
Steve Ormsby of Watermen’s Museum will speak on sunken ships and The Maritime Reserve Initiative.

History Bites, March 10
Join The Mariners’ Museum as top restaurants and caterers in Hampton Roads compete in a food-tasting event of historic proportions. Attendees will enjoy unlimited tastings from all contestants who will prepare their best interpretations of a selection of traditional 19th century dishes representing the North, the South and the Navy.

Star Party & Laser Evening at Virginia Living Museum, March 10
The Virginia Living Museum offers free star gazing beginning at sunset on the second Saturday of every month. The evening also includes a planetarium program and several laser shows.

In the Light of Caravaggio: Dutch and Flemish Paintings from Southeastern Museums features important Caravaggesque paintings from the renowned collections of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, North Carolina Museum of Art, Speed Museum, Bob Jones University Museum & Gallery, and Chrysler Museum of Art including recent acquisitions to the collection of the Muscarelle.

Women with Vision: Masterworks from the Permanent Collection, Through May 13
The Muscarelle Museum of Art is proud to present Women With Vision: Masterworks from the Permanent Collection in conjunction with William & Mary’s 100 Years of Women celebration. This exhibition features over thirty works by prominent women artists from the permanent collection and is comprised of a variety of media styles and time periods expressing their vision.

Guerilla Girls: Conscience of the Art World, Through May 13
The Muscarelle Museum of Art is proud to present Guerrilla Girls: Conscience of the Art World in the Herman Graphic Arts Room as part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of coeducation at William & Mary and in Virginia. Since 1985 and even more stridently today, the Guerrilla Girls have been concerned with broader discrimination; particularly social oppression related to race, class, and gender.

Middle School Art Show at On the Hill Gallery, Through March 17
Come out and support our local youth “Artist in the Making”, an art exhibit by selected York County Middle School students. Celebrating our annual York County Middle School Art Show, March 4th thru 17th at On the Hill Gallery. The work will be hung and displayed the same as in a professional gallery.

Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center Features W & M Studio Art Majors Exhibition, February 20 – March 6
The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center is featuring the William & Mary Studio Art Majors Exhibition through Mar. 16. The exhibit, including exciting selections from the W&M Senior Capstone course, was curated by Brian Kreydatus, Professor of Printmaking and Life Drawing at W&M.
