Easter Events:

Easter Egg Extravaganza, March 31
The annual Easter Egg Extravaganza is March 31 at the Warhill Sports Complex – bring your Easter basket and camera!

Easter Morning Sunrise Service on Jamestown Island, April 1
Easter Sunrise Service will be held on Historic Jamestown Island at 7:00 am on Sunday, April 1, 2018. All are welcome. Williamsburg Clergy from different Churches will lead the Interdenominational Worship Service.

Egg-Stravaganza at the Virginia Living Museum, March 31
The hunt is on! Uncover a variety of eggs from all types of native animals from our extensive collections. Enjoy a visit from our resident rabbit just in time for the holiday, as well as a live animal show, activities, and crafts.

B2 Bunny Hops 5K Fun Run & Easter Egg Hunt, March 31
The first annual 5K Race / Fun Run & Easter Egg Hunt at Billsburg Brewery. Bring the whole family our and join us Saturday, March 31 for what will be an amazing inaugural 5K Fun Run & Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your puppies, your children, your neighbors, your visiting relatives from out of town, you surely don’t want to miss this event at Billsburg Brewery.

Easter Brunch at the Williamsburg Winery, April 1
Join us to celebrate Easter and feast on an extensive brunch buffet featuring fresh, local selections. See website for complete menu. Reservations required.

Local Live Music at Billsburg Brewery, Thursdays Through May
Join us in the Billsburg Event Tent every Thursday this Spring for live music. Grab your friends and join us at Billsburg Brewery to start your weekend early, enjoy live music and fresh cold beer at the only venue in James City County on the waterfront.

The Schooners Alliance and Serenity Return to Yorktown!, March 30
For those who love history, yearn for romance, or have dreamed of a true sailing adventure—this outing is for you! Lend a hand at setting sail, take the helm and steer the ship, or look for dolphins and osprey as you glide along the shores of the York River.

Pirate Adventure Cruises Return, March 30
Bring the kids to Captain Mayhem’s School of Piracy aboard the Yorktown Pirate Boat Tour, and see what it was like to set sail as they did in the day of block and tackle and traditionally rigged sailing vessels.

Riverwalk Landing Piers Open, April 1
The Riverwalk Landing Piers provide docking for overnight stays and transient boaters. Tie up and step ashore to grab a bite to eat or do a little shopping.

Fossil Frenzy at York River State Park, March 26
Long before there was a York River State Park, or even a York River, 6,000 plus years ago, marine creatures swam here in a shallow sea. Join us in discovering relics of these very old creatures as we hike to a fossil beach.

Taskinas Trek at York River State Park, March 30
The Taskinas Creek Trail is gaining a reputation as one of the most scenic and challenging hikes east of I-95. Take the ranger guided hike through this interesting ecosystem. Bring water and a snack, but remember to pack in – pack out.

Friday Night Flights at Charly’s Airport Restaurant, Fridays through August
Enjoy live acoustic music on the patio of Charly’s Airport Restaurant each Friday now through early autumn during Friday Night Flights. The patio provides great views as planes takeoff (you never know what you’ll see!) and there are always delicious specials on homemade bread and slices of pie for dessert.

Watermen’s Museum Presents Yorktown Story Slam, Every Fourth Monday
Story tellers come together at the Yorktown Story Slam every fourth Monday of the month to share their true personal tales about a monthly theme.  7 PM – Storytellers Presentation.  8 to 8:30 PM – Audience Stories.

Bingo Night at the Satellite Taproom, March 29
Take a trip to the Premium Outlets for Bingo and Beer at our Satellite location Thursday night! Bingo will be from 6pm til 7:30 and is free to play for all ages! Prizes, friends, and of course beer!

Stream to Sea Stroll, March 27
What is the difference between a woodland stream and a marsh? What creatures are found in a pond compared to those in a river? Are there similar birds in both ecosystems? Take this ranger guided adventure hiking from the forest to the shoreline to discover life in four aquatic communities within a mile and a half of each other.

Fresh Water Fishing Clinic, March 29
Before you hit the water, learn and practice the skills needed to fish in fresh water. Practice casting with a spin-casting rod & reel combo.

Discover the varied roles of music in women’s lives as you enjoy representative music by and for some talented European women.

In the Light of Caravaggio: Dutch and Flemish Paintings from Southeastern Museums features important Caravaggesque paintings from the renowned collections of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, North Carolina Museum of Art, Speed Museum, Bob Jones University Museum & Gallery, and Chrysler Museum of Art including recent acquisitions to the collection of the Muscarelle.

Women with Vision: Masterworks from the Permanent Collection, Through May 13
The Muscarelle Museum of Art is proud to present Women With Vision: Masterworks from the Permanent Collection in conjunction with William & Mary’s 100 Years of Women celebration. This exhibition features over thirty works by prominent women artists from the permanent collection and is comprised of a variety of media styles and time periods expressing their vision.

Guerilla Girls: Conscience of the Art World, Through May 13
The Muscarelle Museum of Art is proud to present Guerrilla Girls: Conscience of the Art World in the Herman Graphic Arts Room as part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of coeducation at William & Mary and in Virginia. Since 1985 and even more stridently today, the Guerrilla Girls have been concerned with broader discrimination; particularly social oppression related to race, class, and gender.

Elementary School Art Show at On the Hill Gallery, Through March 31
Celebrating our annual York County Elementary Children’s Art Show March 18th thru 31st at On the Hill Gallery. Each teacher from every elementary school has chosen a selection of student’s work to be hung in a professional gallery setting.

Williamsburg Comedy Club, Saturdays
The Comedy Club of Williamsburg invites you to join us for a wonderful evening of fun and laughter. This is your chance to see nationally touring comedians! Located inside the DoubleTree Hotel.

Friday Brewmaster’s Pin, Fridays
Every Friday at 4 pm at The Virginia Beer Company, we tap a small but potent Brewmaster’s Pin. Centrally located on the bar top in our taproom, these weekly cask concoctions give our brewing team the chance to add a personal touch to our draft offerings.

Vinyl Night at Alewerks, Tuesdays
Join us each and every Tuesday night for Vinyl Night in the Taproom. Bring your own records, or listen to ours, either way it’s sweet vinyl spinning on the turntable. FoodaTude..Food with Attitude will be here too! Retro tunes, good food, and craft beer.

Trivia Night at Alewerks, Wednesdays
Wednesday night means the Taproom is the place to be for this battle of the brains. Bring your friends (or your enemies) and prove just how smart you really are. It’s an entertaining evening with great craft beer, and a thoroughly irreverent take on trivia. We’ll have food trucks here too with an ever-changing menu of delicious options.
